Laura M. Reid Meadow Garden

Meadow Garden was the primary residence of lawyer, politician, and patriot George Walton from 1792 until his death in 1804. George Walton was one of three men to represent Georgia in the Continental Congress and has distinction as one of the youngest signers of the Declaration of Independence. His home is a National Register of Historic Places landmark and the pride and joy of the Georgia State Society, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Meadow Garden is near and dear to our hearts! We have members serving as docents, patrons, and board members. We are pleased to provide both time and monetary gifts for the beautiful historic site.

Meadow Garden's web site is maintained by the Georgia State Society, NSDAR and the Augusta Chapter. Please visit the site and provide your feedback!
